Toasting my normal organs

JM suggested a toast to my normal organs. I think the idea is brilliant, so today in celebration of my normal organs, I got up when the alarm went off...well, when it went off for the third time, made coffee, fed the cat, got dressed, sat down with my journal, went out for a run in the crisp, cool morning air, and watched the sun come up.

It's a normal day for a woman whose organs are normal. ;-) I'm glad I'm alive to see it.

And J., I just want you to know that I did see your comment about the chocolate lava cake. I'm just sayin'.... Seeker, that does not exempt you from sharing the traditional pie. Key Lime, French Silk...it doesn't matter to me. JM, I'm counting on having that toast in person next week, over sushi.

Thanks to all of you for helping hold me up.

Well I definitely wouldn't want to shirk on sharing a virtual key lime pie with you. Though it's not as good as sharing a real one. Maybe JM can help me with that since she'll be seeing you in person...hint, hint JM. ;)

What's that, seeker? you want me to DO SOMETHING? Ok, I think I can handle it.

Seeker- Well, I was assuming it would be virtual, since that's the only pie tradition I've ever shared in around here, but you seemed to have convinced JM, so who am I to argue?

JM- aren't you on the wrong coast for Key Lime?

for one so faithful, ye have little faith

Well, alrighty then. I'll have faith. :-)

That would be faith AND pie you're having, then?
Whisper it not in Gath, but I don't think I actually know what key lime pie tastes like.Maybe one day..

I must commend you all, my faithful readers, for your remarkable restraint in not yet pointing out the unfortunate title of this post. Perhaps I should have named it, "A toast in salute to my normal organs." ;-)

I thought maybe you were going to the beach . . .

I am speechless about the organs and envious of the pie. (Probably not envious enough to switch teams, but key lime sounds awfully tempting.)

My life might have been so different if they'd told me pie was involved...

:)

You and all of your organs are just fine. Even if they are a bit toasty.

Hope things continue to imporve from here on out.

JM: I was just providing you with a reason for having pie. :)

GAH! I'm so late to this party! Congratulations on coming out to your mother. Telling my family was one of the most important steps for me, although they all swoer they knew (except my brother who is still baffled 8 years later!).
I'm so happy. As time goes on, it will be more and more peaceful.
OOOH I wish I could give you a hug!
JM-Give her one for me, would you?
