Returning to former state

I'm going to my PhD town on Sunday for the day. It's the first time to return there since I moved in August of last year. A friend of mine is being ordained (and it will be a fabulous celebration), so I'm going down for the service. New friend from city west of here is going with me, for which I'm extremely grateful. Later next week I return to PhD town for nearly a week on business.

But, I'm really dreading going back there....

Just remember that it's possible to travel back to your former state without returning to your former state ....

What jo(e) said, Linda. So true.

And I, for one, am REALLY REALLY looking forward to seeing you! Did I say really? I meant REALLY. And this is absolutely unbelievable, but it's not suppose to get out of the 80's next week. Small comfort since the heat index will still be hot as hell, I know, but hey, still... :-)

Jo(e)- Thanks for that reminder. It helps.

Katherine- I'm really looking forward to seeing you too. And that word about the weather does take some of the edge off. ;)

I'm returning to a former state, too, and dreading the hell outta it. Hope your trip goes well.

Woo, good one Joe.

In my experience, the more often I do what you are describing, the easier it gets. Does that help or just make you want to smack me? :)

Here's the thing: five times from now, it will be NO BIG DEAL. :)

Wow. Missed out. That was big, I'm sure. I'll bet you kept your center and you're just fine.
